HR & PAYROLL SERVICES
Small businesses aim to simplify complex, time-consuming back-office functions so owners can focus on growth. Combining payroll, tax compliance, HR support, and benefits administration into one platform can reduce administrative burden and risk while improving accuracy and efficiency. Having scalable tools and expert support empowers small businesses to operate with the confidence and capabilities of larger organizations, ensuring they remain compliant, competitive, and better equipped to attract and retain talent.
-
All-in-one Workforce Management: Bringing payroll, HR, benefits, and compliance into a single platform, reduces the need for multiple systems. This unified approach helps small businesses save time and operate more efficiently, between onboarding employees, collecting documents, calculating taxes, general ledger reporting, and benefits administration.
-
Payroll & Compliance Support: Automating payroll processing, tax calculations, and filings helps minimize errors and reduce administrative burden. It also helps businesses stay compliant with constantly changing regulations across jurisdictions and states. Last thing business owners want to deal with is calling into and working with state tax agencies when their payroll provider can investigate on their behalf.
-
Scalable HR Expertise: There are tools and resources that grow alongside a business, from basic HR functions to more advanced workforce management needs. This allows small businesses to access expert guidance without building a large internal HR team. Not only cutting costs on an HR team, but also having complementary job board postings, background checks, cloud data storage, and access to a phone line with a dedicated, SHRM-certified HR team.
-
Streamlined Benefits Administration & Support: Having benefits integrated into payroll simplifies benefits enrollment, management, compliance, and reporting, making it easier for businesses to offer competitive offerings for current and future employees. Ongoing support helps ensure accuracy and improves the employee experience.
-
Employee Self-Service Capabilities: Having a self-service app enables employees to access pay stubs, tax forms, and benefits information through a secure portal. This reduces administrative requests and empowers employees to manage their own information.
-
R&D Tax Credit Study & Delivery: Businesses that develop or improve products, software, processes, or technologies can claim valuable R&D tax credits. This is done through a structured study led by specialized tax professionals who evaluate eligibility based on IRS criteria, analyze qualified activities and expenses, and document findings.
Could Your Business Qualify for Valuable R&D Tax Credits?
Many businesses are innovating every day without realizing they may qualify for valuable R&D tax credits. Whether you’re improving products, developing software, enhancing processes, or creating new technologies, those efforts could translate into significant tax savings.
With recent changes to IRS Form 6765, documentation and reporting requirements for R&D tax credit claims have become more detailed, making it even more important for businesses to work with experienced tax professionals who can properly evaluate eligibility, analyze qualified expenses, and document findings. If you haven’t heard about the key update for R&D tax credits, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) restored immediate expensing of domestic R&D expenditures through new IRC Section 174A, effectively reversing the mandatory 5-year amortization requirement for U.S.-based R&D that had been in place since 2022. This generally applies to tax years beginning after December 31, 2024.
Also, with the September 15th and October 15th tax extension deadlines quickly approaching, many of your businesses are finalizing their returns and evaluating opportunities to reduce their tax liability before filing. This is an ideal time to identify businesses that may qualify for the R&D Tax Credit but have not yet claimed it.
